Greeneville, TN - Yesterday, TEVET participated in our Third Thursday tradition. This tradition focuses on what and how our employees would like to learn, develop, and grow. This can be done through presentations, training exercises, videos, online learning, and more.
This time around, we decided to have a few good laughs while focusing on protocol procedures. And for the good laugh, we turned to James Veitch's TED Talks about having a bit of fun with spammers. He went on to tell us his stories on how he actually did what we all have thought about doing to email spammers before.....reply. He admits that all this good fun with spammers is to annoy them as much as they annoy us while also keeping them away from swindling folks out of their hard-earned money.
Through the tears of laughter, we refreshed on our spam protocol. Even if you don't any spam emails, it is still good to have a protocol in place for that rare instance. Since it is an extremely rare occasion for us, but increasing across our industry, we thought it best to review for the entire company. And if we can review something as boring as spam protocol with some good laughs, then we are all in!
