Spirit of Giving - TEVET Makes Multiple Donations Before 2018 Holiday Season

Spirit of Giving - TEVET Makes Multiple Donations Before 2018 Holiday Season

Greeneville, TN - In the spirit of the holiday season, TEVET employees volunteered to set aside some individual time and resources to assist our local community. And when our employees put their minds to something, they see it through. This was no different when it came to supporting our community this month.

Among the multiple organizations that TEVET supports, our employees chose two to focus on - local Humane Society and Food Bank. We know that this time of year is not always the brightest and easiest for animals and people alike. Therefore, through our donations, we hope that we can help them have a full tummy, warm place to sleep, and a bright start to 2019.

TEVET employees collected donations that included the following:

  • Donations for Greene County Humane Society: dry food, cleaning supplies, blankets, cat litter, and a couple toys.
  • Donations for Greene County Food Bank: canned goods, flour mixes, packaged fruit cups, and some holiday treats.

As a HUBZone small business, we strive to create opportunities within our community for advancement. But we also realize that advancement isn't always the top priority. The top priority is to ensure that all members of our community are cared for and that their basic needs are met. As an individual, that is their first step toward a brighter future; as a community, that is our first step toward making our area stronger.

An act of kindness, even one as small as our collected donations, is never wasted. It makes an impact that can change individuals, families, communities, and the world.
