On October 20th, 2020, TEVET (a SDVSOB and HUBZone small business) celebrated the Grand Opening of their new headquarters in Greeneville, TN. Through a socially distanced ceremony and tour groups, TEVET showcased their state-of-the-art, 140,00 sq ft facility. The new facility will be the catalyst of future opportunities for TEVET and our HUBZone community, including but not limited to customized customer solutions, quality reassurance, and employment opportunities.
“This headquarters, this building, is the greatest leap of faith we’ve ever taken, but we also have more momentum than ever in TEVET’s history - gained by a series of events, and for me, those events started here, in Greeneville. The emphasis in designing the space was to capture the spirit of TEVET. It is bold, fun, engaging, and smart. This building looks like our work. It’s refined and polished and ready for the largest contractors in the country to show up on its doorstep. And, it feels like our work, too. It’s full of intelligent, helpful people. It’s full of solutions,” explained TEVET’s President and CEO, Tracy Solomon, during his ceremony speech.
Local and state officials were in attendance along with the following speakers – Bradley Williams, President of Holston Home for Children; Jeff Taylor, President and CEO of Greene County Partnership; Carlos Riviera, President and CEO of Vysnova; Scott Jensen, Executive Director of NVSBC; Tracy Solomon, President and CEO of TEVET.
During the ceremony, TEVET’s President and CEO – Tracy Solomon – was honored with the prestigious Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Small Business Award from the NVSBC.
