TEVET Pays it Forward at the Pumpkin Patch - United Way's Halloween 5K

Greeneville, TN – This past Saturday, the TEVET team woke up early to participate in the United Way’s Halloween 5K at our local Myer’s Pumpkin Patch. The brisk Fall weather didn’t deter the team from helping out their community and participating in an event that was both healthy and family friendly.

The 5K benefited the local United Way organization to aide in the upcoming winter months. Myer’s generously held the event on their cross-country course that allowed attendees the exploration of most of the farm – corn mazes, pumpkin patches, barns, and the main activities section full of crafts, hot chocolate, games, and treats for the kids. In fact, Myer’s threw in a free pumpkin for every racer, and the art supplies if you wished to decorate your pumpkin. Adults were also treated to live music, apple cider, and – of course – time with their friends and family on a beautiful East Tennessee autumn day.
