TEVET recognized as DOE Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Supplier of the Year

TEVET, an industry-leading test and measurement equipment provider, is honored to announce that they have been named the "Service-Disabled Vetern-Owned Small Business of the Year" for FY 2022 by the Department of Energy (DOE) at the 2023 Small Business Forum and Expo Awards held in New Orleans, LA in July. The Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s (OSDBU’s) Annual Small Business Awards Program recognizes the outstanding performance of people and organizations that promote and expand the Department’s use of small businesses.

From the awardee description published for the event, "TEVET plays a key role in meeting DOE requirements in the areas of acquiring and integrating test and measurement equipment systems, and instrumentation. In FY 2022, the KCNSC procured over $8.6M in test and measurement equipment from TEVET.

To support DOE requirements, TEVET created a state-of-the-art eCommerce Marketplace which reduces time associated with order placement within the DOE sites. The TEVET Marketplace allows quotes to be parked and purchase orders to be generated with single touch checkout/approval. Furthermore, TEVET provided superior pricing and delivery to DOE in FY 2022 by leveraging its multi-site agreements."

Tracy Solomon, CEO and Founder of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and HUBZone Small Business stated, "Our support for the DOE is unwavering, and the outstanding work of each team member does not go unnoticed. I extend my deepest gratitude to our customers at the DOE labs for their steadfast support and encouragement. Their faith in us continues to be our compass, guiding us to this momentous achievement."

This is the third time in their long-standing partnership with the Department of Energy (DOE) that TEVET has been recognized as its "Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year," also receiving the award for its work with the Department of Energy (DOE) in 2009 and 2019.
