Last month, TEVET, had the privilege of participating in the annual Wreaths Across America event at Andrew Johnson National Cemetary in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Wreaths Across America is a nonprofit organization that works to honor and remember the sacrifices of our nation's veterans by placing wreaths on the graves of fallen soldiers. Each year, volunteers across the country come together to lay wreaths at local veterans' cemeteries as a way of paying tribute to those who have served our country.
Our company was honored to be able to contribute to this important cause, and we were proud to be able to give back to our community in this way. This year, TEVET closed the gap and purchased the remaining 50 wreathes needed to ensure every grave had a wreath placed. On the day of the event, a group of our employees gathered at the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery in Greeneville to lay wreaths on the graves of those who had served and given their lives for our country.
The Wreaths Across America event was a powerful and moving experience for all of us, and it was a reminder of the sacrifices that so many men and women have made to protect our freedom. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this important event and to do our part to honor and remember our nation's heroes.
The work of Wreaths Across America doesn't stop with just one day of wreath-laying. Throughout the year, the organization works to support military families, provide education and resources to teachers and students, and raise awareness of the sacrifices of our nation's veterans.
We are proud to support this important cause and to do our part to honor and remember the men and women who have served our country. If you are interested in learning more about Wreathes Across America or how you can get involved, we encourage you to visit their website at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. Together, we can show our appreciation for the sacrifices of our nation's veterans and ensure that their memories live on.
