NI Turns Data Collection Into Real Insights – No Programing Required with New LabVIEW NXG

TEVET’s strategic partner, National Instruments new LabVIEW NXG 1.0 configures hardware, acquires data, and analyzes measurements without programing. It reduces time spent setting up and running a data acquisition system with a built-in drag-and-drop user interface and inherent data exploration.

The next generation of LabVIEW includes interactive tutorials and lessons featuring a media-rich workbook that steps you through each learning topic making the learning curve easy for new users. Master new skills through a guided approach with triggers highlighting elements directly in the palettes, open screen-oriented text editors (VI’s), or display information about the environment.

Experienced LabVIEW programmers will notice the enhanced editor with added productivity features to reduce development time. For example, all settings for an object or function are located in the Configuration Pane on the right side of the environment—no more searching in nested menus to change function behavior.

Totally flexible, if automation or custom logic is required, users can easily incorporate previously configured measurement tasks or analysis functions by dragging and dropping configurations into a VI.
