Steppen' Up Our Game - Collections and Donations to SteppenStyle

Johnson City, TN – This week TEVET donated a van-load of gently-used products to the newly created SteppenStyle Thrift Store for the SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services organization. SteppenStone is an organization that TEVET supports for at-risk youth.

Within a HUBZone that has high unemployment and other economic struggles, organizations and support for organizations like this are critical to our youth and community. The thrift store is a new outreach that SteppenStone created to connect the youth, who work the thrift store and gain business skills, to the community.

Since the beginning of the year, TEVET has been able to collect clothes, toys, furniture, bikes, games, shoes, and so much more from our employees and surrounding community. In addition to this large donation of items this week, individual TEVET team members have taken it upon themselves to deliver car-loads of items during their free time this year.
