At TEVET, we believe it is our duty to answer the call and deliver honorable service to our country, customer, and community. That’s why we support a wide range of local and national organizations by donating both time and money.
Specifically, as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), TEVET strives even further to support fellow veterans in a variety of ways – from employment opportunities to supporting veteran organizations.
TEVET recently donated $15,000 to East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Veterans Affairs for a new golf cart. It will assist veterans, their families, and their guests when visiting the ETSU Johnson City campus.
TEVET CEO and President, Tracy Solomon, stated it best, “Providing the golf cart to ETSU Veterans Affairs was another opportunity to pay our respect and gratitude forward to our fellow veterans. We’re glad that it is being well-utilized and will continue to make a difference for those veterans and their families visiting the ETSU campus.” Tracy Solomon – and TEVET by extension – is honored to have the capability to make a donation that will positively affect so many veterans and their families in our area.
As a third-generation, service-disabled veteran, Tracy Solomon understands the sacrifices – both small and large – that our veterans and their families have made. He also understands how even the smallest thing – like a convenient ride up one of ETSU’s many steep hills – can make a difference in someone’s day, especially if that climb would’ve been difficult otherwise.
Even in the smallest of actions, we can repay our gratitude and respect to our veterans.
