Flippin' for the Future - TEVET Assists Local Unit's Scholarship for JROTC

Flippin' for the Future - TEVET Assists Local Unit's Scholarship for JROTC

Greeneville, TN – This past weekend, the local Marine Corps League (Sgt. Elbert Kinser Detachment #615) sponsored a pancake breakfast where all proceeds go toward their scholarship for the local JROTC cadets. TEVET employee, Brian Fletcher and other former Marines stepped in to support the future leaders in our community. Other TEVET employees were in attendance to show their support through pancake breakfast purchases and donations.

The youth of the community is important to TEVET and our employees. These young adults are the future whether it is local or abroad, in military or the civilian world. TEVET's reach expands to multiple local organizations such as: Holston Home for Children, SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services, local JROTC cadets, and Boys and Girls Club. We feel that it is our duty to the future of our community to assist the youth in any way that we can, even if that means we get covered in flour and flip a few pancakes along the way.
