When did Math and Science become something to dread instead of something exciting? Where did our curiosity to dream and confidence to build go?
At TEVET, we work daily with leading innovators, engineers, and our OEM partners to solve today’s most challenging questions. Together, we create solutions that propel our future “what-if’s.” We strive to create a future that connects families worldwide, travels to Mars and builds colonies on the Moon, designs self-driving cars, supports a healthier world, protects soldiers and civilians alike from harmful forces, and more. What seems impossible not only becomes possible but is accelerated by leaps and bounds. These innovations are only possible due to our strong foundation of STEM education and the continued child’s wonderment that we all still have.
To continue to build a future full of possibilities, we need to fuel the fire that STEM education creates. And as we most know, STEM is not strongly favored within our education system. Whether it is resources or gender stereotypes, there is a definite halt to the number of STEM-interested students in America today. We are determined to change this.
TEVET, along with our OEM partners, encourages our youth to take an interest in STEM-related fields. We do so through direct, fun interactions that pique the youth’s interest and imagination. This could be building and testing rockets, making gooey slime, competing in a robot battle, showcasing in a science fair, or supplying equipment and resources to a classroom.
See the articles below on how TEVET and our OEM partners make a difference in current STEM education, and how we hope the renewed interest will keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the future.
