On December 7th, 2023, TEVET took part in Wreath’s Across America to honor our veterans as we have done for the past decade.
The Andrew Johnson National Cemetery, one of the 1,600 national sites taking part in Wreaths Across America, is located in our small-town and HUBZone community.
TEVET supported the cause by assisting with unloading and laying the wreaths at the cemetery and by purchasing wreaths to be laid there.
This year, we were lucky enough to have sunny weather as TEVET staff members gathered with JROTC cadets, neighborhood veterans' groups, and other community members to lay wreaths in remembrance of almost 2,000 fallen soldiers.
TEVET is a firm believer in paying tribute to individuals who have served in the armed forces or are doing so now and supporting our warfighters. In our community, we actively assist, employ, and enable veterans.
For those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, we are forever grateful. To lay a wreath and speak the name of the fallen is only a mere gesture in what their lives mean to us, our community, and our nation.
