A year before the first deployment of a customized, state-of-the-art solid-state modulator, an organization (NSPA) needed to create a replacement transmitter control unit (TCU) to manage the radar transmitter. Other than the deadline, cost and customization became obstacles. NI had the solution.
NI turned to their seamless integration among LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA, and the selected hardware (2 PXI-7853R modules and 1 NI-5751 digitizer adapter module). The integration not only minimized the learning curve for users, but it also cut the cost significantly.
